7th Tradition
Every AA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.
What Is the 7th Tradition?
The 7th Tradition is one of the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. It ensures that every group remains independent and free from outside influence by funding itself entirely through voluntary contributions from its own members.
We don't accept outside funding — no grants, no sponsors, no fees. Everything it costs to keep this meeting running comes from the people in the room. When you contribute, you help carry the message to the next person who needs it.
How Contributions Are Used
Your contributions keep this meeting running. Here is where the money goes:
- Zoom Pro subscription for weekly meetings
- YouTube channel maintenance and recording storage
- Website hosting and domain renewal
- CSOAA and AA service entity dues
- Literature for newcomers
